Do you know the difference between a survivor, fighter and overcomer?

A survivor just makes it. Barely. Everyday they get by, always hanging on by a thread.

A fighter is one step above that. They don’t make it, they fight everyday. Every step of the way. Fights that don’t even need to happen. Yet, that is how they get through. Fighting.

An overcomer acknowledges Victory in Christ. An overcomer never gives up, stopped looking for fights long ago and doesn’t just make it. An overcomer flourishes from every battle, hurdle or test thrown at them.

I started out as a survivor and turned into a fighter for all the wrong reasons which just brought me back to being a survivor because fighting all the time (and looking for fights when none are headed your way) is exhausting. Finally, I became an overcomer by using my experiences as a survivor and fighter to learn. To not only accept Victory in Christ, but to be humbled by it.

Just some food for thought.
