What is God’s will for my life?

How many of us struggle with questions about life’s path?Questioning…

How do I know if I am following the right path?

What if I missed His perfect will for me? If I have does that mean my whole life is not in God’s will?

Questions like this can lead to anxiety, sleepless nights, depression and feelings of separation from God. Especially for those who desire to serve God and follow Him we sometimes live looking over our shoulder afraid of His wrath if we do something outside His will.

How can we find peace in this area?

Rather than feeling anxious that I might take a wrong turn, or worried that I might miss an opportunity He had planned for me I have found that praying this Scripture helps tremendously.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
And I pray “Lord thank You that I am Your handiwork, created to do good works. I thank You that You have already prepared those things that You would have me to do. I trust the power and guidance of Your Spirit to open my eyes to what it is You would have me to do. Amen.
This is coming to God with a thankful and submissive heart, resting In who He is rather than trusting my own striving and worrisome mind.
