Quiz: Something to Ponder: the opposite of fear is????
I would say both
I think that faith being the opposite of fear is a clearer illustration because faith comes from the heart and is something planted by God. Belief is something we try to cultivate but comes more from the head. Fear can be a gripping emotion, something that controls us from the inside, in the opposite way that faith would control us. I don’t think of “belief” as something that has power over us. But faith does; faith that God give; faith that stands; faith that paves the way to belief.
