Dear Ones,

A powerful truth Father God has taught me is seen in the different translations of Ephesians 1:18-19.  I don’t need to write much about this as you can plainly see the difference.

Vs 18-19 KJV “the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.

Vs 18-19 NLT, “I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope He has given to those He called – His holy people who are His rich and glorious inheritance.  I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe Him.

We may say that we know John or Sue and that leads us to see the specific relationship as casual or lite. If however, we say we understand John or Sue we can see a deeper more revealing relationship is evident.

How important for us to say that we understand “the confident hope of His incredible great power for us who believe Him.”

We learn theses things as we spend more time with Him in prayer and reading His Word. We learn these things as we see His hand more in our lives (Eph 3:23) The more He allows us to be in the same room when He works His great wonders the stronger our understanding of how much He loves us and wants to bless us! (Eph 3:16)

Love you and be a blessing

Brother Walt
