Psalm 30:5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Yesterday, I was as down and depressed as I have ever been. I was crying and distraught for reasons I didn’t know. I was so frustrated with myself for being so miserable. Then this morning God turned it all around. I am a totally different person today. That’s what I love about God and His love. God renews, strengthens and heals us in a single moment.
Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
I was afraid to go back to work Monday after some situations took place two weeks ago before my vacation. I know now you cannot and should not trust people you work with unless they are believers. It sounds negative, but God’s Holy Word tell us to trust no man. It is a lesson I learn anew every year and I’m sick of not applying this important lesson. So now I look forward to going back to work and giving it my all for God. That’s what we’re supposed to do.
Proverbs 31:25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
On my way to an interview this morning, I heard a Christian speaker say the Proverbs 31 woman laughs at the days to come. Rejoice, laugh both are connected. I never noticed that trait of the Proverbs woman. I saw how hard she worked, how reliable she was and how much she gave every day. Now I see she rejoices in time to come because she knows God has every day ahead taken care of. It’s all accounted for. All she has to do is follow God. Serve Him.
What a difference a day makes. I am so beyond blessed. God is the only love I want and desire. Just when I think I can’t fall more madly in love with God, He performs a wonderful work in my life. Praise be to the Lord, our God, our Savior forever more. He is worthy to be praised.

God never fails, nor His word. A great lesson in trust. Jesus trusted in no man (even his followers) – so it’s not only non-believers that can lead us astray! Blessings!
Sue, you are so right that believers and non-believers can lead us astray. I wrote an article I haven’t yet put up about that very thing. How not every one that claims Christ will walk with you. We have to run hard after God ourselves and check everything against God’s word, not accept just what we’re told. 🙂
