Isn’t this one of those passages of Scripture that you have known forever? I have.
But yesterday the Lord brought it to mind and began to sink its truth into my heart. Lately I have been weary. The constant demands of child rearing and everyday life has caught up with me. And I was struck by His words “He makes me lie down in green pastures” -He leads me to a place of rest.
Even though the house may be filled with noise He leads my soul beside quiet waters. And best of all He restores my soul.
How many of you are in need of rest, of soul restoration? Let Him minister to you, giving you the rest and restoration you need.
