Meditation on Hebrews 11:6
Yesterday I was listening to a podcast on Hebrews 11. I had always read the verse before as that we need to come to God believing that He exists – believing entirely in who He is. And that when we come to Him in faith this way He rewards us.
BUT what the speaker was saying, which totally resonated in my Spirit, the verse doesn’t say we are rewarded because we believe in Him. Instead it says in order to please God we must believe that God exists and that He will reward us for faithfulness. In this context it made me see how important it is to God that we believe He will carry out His promises in our lives. He wants us to believe in His goodness, in His truth – and to believe that He will carry out His good and perfect will in our lives.
When we earnestly seek Him
Earnestly seek fellowship with Him
Earnestly cling to His promises
He will reward us by fulfilling His promises in our lives.
Do we know His promises to know what He desires to do in our lives? Do we believe that He will do it?

Without faith….
I loved this Naomi, it is so true “you who have little faith”…. So thankful for God and his promises… So thankful for Him always being there and giving me second chances…. So thankful for his love.
